Corporate Machine Pronounces Election Over

The Seattle Times recently endorsed the incumbent politician, of course, for state representative in the 41st District Primary to take place next month and practically declared the election over.  They mentioned the candidates on the ballot, but failed to mention Mark Greene's (Party of Commons chairman's) write-in campaign, which is the usual chicanery by the corporate mainstream news media.  Mark was not placed on the ballot due to dubious King County Elections' practices regarding Mark's petition for representative, and thereby Mark was forced to conduct a write-in campaign (see last month's updated essay in "Coliseum" about the elections department  http://commonseum.blogspot.com/).  Naturally, this mixture of corporatism and county corruption will be combined again next year when the Times makes their pro forma endorsement of Sherril Huff for re-election as Director of Elections.

Please, contribute to Mark's simultaneous write-in State Representative (Aug. 17, 2010 Primary - 41st District) and Lieutenant Governor (2012) campaigns. For "Lt. Governor" campaign, click on the title link above and make selections of how you want to donate. For Representative campaign, send check or money order to P.O. Box 612, Bellevue, WA 98009. Thank you!
