Democrats Gradually Becoming Sole Interventionist Party
At least in the Republican Party, thanks to Rand Paul and other relative G.O.P. newcomers in Congress, there is at least a debate about whether the U.S. should continue its interventionist role in the world, with Paul and his comrades taking the anti-interventionist side. The Democratic Party, however, for all the talk of them being the peacenik party, is anything but, with Bill Clinton invading both Serbia and Iraq during his presidential tenure, and Barack Obama doing nothing much different than the hawkish George W. Bush would have done in a hypothetical third term. In fact, Obama may be even more interventionist than Bush, considering his large build-up in Afghanistan (against the advice of his vice-president), his big invasion of Libya, and smaller invasions of various countries in Southwest Asia and Africa, and now thinking about getting involved in Syria and Iran. Democrats in Congress generally support Obama's interventionism and dubious drone policies. The present Republican Party is in lock-step with these policies, too, unfortunately, but there is more pushback among their ranks through the upstart Paulites than any kind of dissension in the Democratic Party ranks. Not that any policy should be engraved in stone, because sometimes intervention is necessary, especially in an unstable world, but that is saying, in effect, that bad policies feed on each other. Our nation had no choice but to resist Tojo and Hitler, but interventionism since WW II has brought little except global unstableness, the rule of tyrants, perpetual war and the proliferation of nuclear weapons and other WMD. None of those unfortunate facts, however, deter the ambitions of the interventionists.

If possible, please, consider contributing to the Party of Commons, which has scores of members, by sending a check or money order ($10 recommended) to Mark Greene's Party of Commons or $10 to the U.S. Representative Campaign that will be on the ballot in 2014 (to Mark Greene for Congress); for either address, write to P.O. Box 612, Bellevue, WA 98009. Thank you!
Mark is probably the only politician in Washington that had the temerity to keep the 2004 election shenanigans in the news as late as 2013 and to call out names. Help us solve the mystery of "The Other Curious Election of 2004" (WA 9th Congressional District U.S. Rep. primary) by contacting real journalists and asking them to look into it. Please, ask these journalists to use "Freedom of Information" requests to get to the bottom of this case. Elections are too important for shams to be ignored and for accountability to be neglected.
