Going from 24/7 Politics ...

... to political party regrouping, and a few novels.

Seeing that politics is a serious business that requires a lot of sober thought, dry academic undertakings (much like a student in school) and inter-political contact with the larger community that is suffering from the effects of eight long years of the Bush regime. The Party of Commons practices politics 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, which requires a lot of political reading, study and discourse with the community.

With the coming of the holidays, and a public that has tired of politics to some extent after a long presidential campaign, it is getting harder to interact with the community about politics. So the Party of Commons is going to tone down its political activity for a little while, and concentrate on intra-party management activities, and reading novels instead of text books on public policy, until New Year's Day (which probably means a little less blogging than usual during this period). That's not to say that we're going to be completely inactive, but we're going off 24/7 for a while.
