Election Night: September 14, 2004

In a scheme to make sure that an anti-interventionist candidate, similar to Rep. Ron Paul in foreign policy, did not make the November general election ballot, it is apparent that the U.S. Congressional primary election of six years ago was stolen from Mark Greene, candidate for the G.O.P. nomination that year in the 9th Congressional District, competing against Paul Lord, thereby criminal fraud taking place in that election (Mark is presently with the Party of Commons, a practical independent).  A 3-hour gap in the vote tabulation audit logs appeared at a critical time, not long after the closing of the polls.  This gap is evidenced by a report from elections specialist, Bev Harris.  Dean Logan, the former King County elections director, denied that there were any significant problems with the election despite ample evidence to the contrary.  Logan has since been known to be a corrupt, dishonest partisan, and not qualified to be dogcatcher let alone in charge of any elections department, although now he is reportedly a registrar/county clerk in Los Angeles, California.  Logan obviously overlooked the certain fraud that took place in King County on September 14 - 15, 2004.

The King County Executive at that time, Ron Sims, was also on the primary ballot in September of '04, running for governor.  Sims is as much to blame for the elections mismanagement in King County for the last several years as anybody else since he is the one that appointed people like Logan and Sherril Huff to lead King Co. Elections.  Despite that Sims was on the primary ballot, and the audit logs went missing that night, Sims was beaten so badly by Christine Gregoire across the entire state that he didn't request a recount.  You can be sure that if Sims was practically tied with Gregoire on election night, as Mark Greene was tied in the election with Lord (and in fact Mark was leading the vote in two of the three 9th District counties, including the overwhelmingly largest county, King, for population in the 9th), that he would have raised all hell about the suspicious audit log gap had he lost by a few percentage points as Greene did.  Sims apparently didn't care about an accurate vote count, however, since it very probably wouldn't have affected his own chances.  Neither did Dean Logan and his top underlings at King County Elections care, since they couldn't be bothered to check on whether there was fraud or not as it was their responsibility to do.  The ill functioning goings-on at King County Elections has been around for several years and nothing will change until, at least, Huff & McConnell, among upper levels of management, are ousted through elections next year or in 2015.
