Back to the 9th District in '04: Democracy As An Afterthought
Sure enough, with alledged pro-democracy political commentators on mainstream TV (and PBS is definitely mainstream these days), if uncontroversial vote counts don't go the way they would have liked, what is tantamount to overturning those elections is just "democracy being messy." They would likely apply that term to stolen elections in the U.S., too, if they had to, but they don't have to, because elections are usually stolen so cleanly and "magically" in America that nobody except the thieves -- and perhaps the victims -- even know about it, and therefore really uncontroversial. The Republican Congressional Primary of 2004 in the 9th District of Washington state is a case in point. This election was stolen from Mark Greene without so much as a single mainstream press news article or TV report mentioning it, but we're not forgetting it, here, on Commoner, and the closer we get to Mark's official re-entry into 9th District Congressional politics next year, the more the '04 election will be focused on, again. For further information, please, see the following essays:
If possible, please, consider contributing to the Party of Commons, which has scores of members, by sending a check or money order ($10 recommended) to Mark Greene's Party of Commons or $10 to the U.S. Representative Campaign that will be on the ballot in 2014 (to Mark Greene for Congress); for either address, write to P.O. Box 612, Bellevue, WA 98009. Thank you!
Mark is probably the only politician in Washington that had the temerity to keep the 2004 election shenanigans in the news as late as 2013 and to call out names. Help us solve the mystery of "The Other Curious Election of 2004" (WA 9th Congressional District U.S. Rep. primary) by contacting real journalists and asking them to look into it.
